DEAR FRIENDS:
With only 35 days before the Presidential election, I feel compelled to share this idea. I am an author, activist, and science writer. I enjoy the intersection of physics and culture - never more obvious than this fall.
Our ability to focus and develop creative visualization is powerful.
Four years ago some of you may have voted for Mr. Bush, believing that the conservative republican ideas he espoused were going to be put in place. Unless you have completely capitulated your intellectual prowess, you can see that he is neither a true conservative nor a true republican. It is not him, it is the cadre of people around him that has taken the USA toward massive distrust by the world community.
If you really believe that giving up some freedom for security is a good idea, then you deserve neither.

I urge you to pay attention to all the details being revealed, not by left-wingers, but by the very people who fought in the Gulf War, and more. Several retired joint chiefs of staff, and many more, even Colin Powell have said things I implore you to consider again. The course being followed by Cheney and his groups are destined for greater disasters. Why wait 20 years to realize what is happening?
