Hello. I wanted to let people who know me from this board that the book I have worked on for the past eight years can now be read on-line at my blog, www.waveofchange.blogspot.com. (http://www.waveofchange.blogspot.com.) The book is called The Land Of Curving Water: A Mythological Memoir. The first part of the title is a translation of the name of the valley where it takes place, Waipi'o Valley, on the island of Hawaii. Waipi'o was one of the spiritual centers of ancient Hawaii, and still has very powerful mana. I saw the menehune one night when I lived there, and I met lots of people who had other experiences with elemental beings as well. As a memoir, the book deals with how my head, heart, and physical body were all broken open by my experiences there, enabling me to walk through doorways I would not have even known existed otherwise. It is mythological in the sense that all identity is. There are also Hawaiian myths woven through the book which parallel my present day narrative. I often felt the presence of Kali as I wrote this book, specifically in the form of a spider goddess. There were spiders everywhere in Waipi'o. At dawn sometimes you could see them leap off the edge of the pali (two thousand feet) to land on the canopy below. I am posting the book on-line so I can move on to other realms of creativity. It's non-traditonal narrative style has not been met with enthusiasm by the traditional publishing world. I offer the book as a gift to those who are still suffering in the hopes my words will help you let go of anything that is stopping you from entering heaven on earth right now.

Thanks for that, whitewave.

Eight years! A labor of love, I'm sure.

I'll definitely check it out...

EDIT:

On your friend John's site, the file is not accessible. Perhaps you could post a direct link to the book here, after you've sorted that out?

Writing this book was a labor of learning to love myself...

Sorry about the confusion regarding the link. I am relying on my friend for all of this since I don't know how to do much with the computer. I do know that if you go into the first comment and click on the link that says "click here to read Jen's book" you will get to the book, but it doesn't get there when you click on his site. Thanks.

Humming,
Thanks for pointing out those glitches. I had my friend fix them. My book can be accessed now at www.waveofchange.blogspot.com (http://www.waveofchange.blogspot.com) under the "Read The Land Of Curving Water" post.
