My first Villoldo spam (spam in the nice sense): THE FOUR WINDS SOCIETY
Dear Friend of the Four Winds,
I invite you to join me, June 24 through July 5th, in Peru for the Via Illuminata…a journey of transformation built around the Four Insights – the ancient wisdom teachings of the master shamans. Our voyage begins in the heart of the rainforest at one of the last unspoiled spots in the world, with an estimated 1,200 species of birds. Daily walks led by naturalists allow us to experience the true beauty of the Amazon. In the jungle, we have the opportunity to sit with traditional Jaguar Shamans and learn how to shed the past the way the serpent sheds her skin.
Our journey continues in the Sacred Valley near Cusco, amid 20,000 foot high glaciers. Here, in a beautiful lodge, we start the day with Yoga and fresh-squeezed tropical juices. We then meet as group to learn and master each of the Four Insights. You visit Inka temples in small groups led by Four Winds staff and our Inka shamans where you can take part in ceremonies led by our medicine men and women.
The Via is a transformational journey and an opportunity to rest, regenerate, and heal. In the Amazon we discover we never left Eden; in the Andes we learn the insights that allow us to ‘dream the world into being’. In Peru, you will be welcomed as friends of a lineage of medicine men and women we have worked with for twenty-five years. (view itinerary here)
In addition, you may want to combine your Peru expedition with a trip to the Nazca Lines, June 18-23rd, to explore ancient seeing and tracking techniques.
We are also offering an intimate trip to Chile, March 14-24th, exploring the sacred feminine with Marcela Lobos. By application only.
