2012 some of it already happened?

In the latter part of the 19th century and in the beginning of the 20th a number of new ideas, inventions and views had arisen. I have compiled some of these below:

The painting “The Scream” by the “father” of expressionism, Edvard Munch in 1893.

The “impressionistic” version called “Fauvism” founded by Henri Matisse in 1905.

In 1900, Sigmund Frued published "An Interpretation of Dreams"

In 1905, the German born genius, Albert Einstein, published his work on the special theory of relativity.

12,000 vehicles or Olds-mobiles manufactured in 1903 using the gasoline-powered internal combustion engine by Ransom Olds.

Orville and Wilbur Wright set a record for keeping an airplane aloft for more that one hour in September of 1909.

In 1912 Thomas Edison and Nicola Tesla were nominated for a Nobel prize for their work on the electrical generator. Tesla also developed the "tesla coil" used in wireless broadcasts (radio) and wireless detection (radar)

In 1914 Wrigley Field built for the Cubs at the onset of America's "pass"-time

Generally there is no exact date for things like this. Things build up towards a major happening long before it actually happens. I could say that the New Age began in San Francisco during the Summer of Love, because I was 16 & hanging out there, finding out about Radical Politics, Eastern Mysticism & Western Occultism.

So years from now, we may date the Winter Solstice of 2012, as the day that Humanity decided to stop being a species of Masters & Slaves, and become free & Enlightened people, but the foundations for this have already been set, and it is an ongoing process.

Of course, applying Bell's Theorem, it should be understood that Gaia has already sent out the major distress call. Enlightened species out there are very much aware of what's going on here. It may turn out that we won't need a major Intervention to get us through the Transition. We might do the whole job all by ourselves, and ALL concerned would prefer that.

hmmmm, I don't know about getting rid of the masters and slaves thing. That sounds like someone in a green uniform is gonna come make me work in the fields and shave my head because I have glasses.

The "they" that you refer to as preferring we figure it out without their intervention, I don't think they like the "no slave" idea either... because that means moving beyond THEIR control as well.

The way out is to move beyond duality. Once you're free of that, the master slave thing dissolves along with everything else. The trick is to beware being judgemental and sanctimonious towards the ignorant destroyers of our world. No one ever influenced anyone else by shouting at them and waving pamphlets. Love and acceptance does the trick. Who will lay down their picket sign first, that's the issue.

When I say getting rid of the Master/Slave thing. I mean exactly that. Replacing one set of Masters for another has been tried, and it didn't work out. That will always happen with violent revolutions.

The real deal that is coming, will not be a violent revolution. The means that we employ determine exactly what the end result will be.

Master & Slaves? sounds like a personal issue, waa

I think of this creation as referred to in the Bible as a "Garden" of Eden or Gesthemene. Yah-weh or Allah or whatever her name is, is busy sprinkling water or adding fertilizer, hoeing out weeds or plowing parts of it under and leaving it fallow. If something pops up that is unusual and different, it may be taken out and planted in another "garden".

And where would the US of A be without the sons and daughters of slaves. Our sports leagues, of football, basketball and baseball would be very dull without these superb athletes. We'd probably be watching head butts as in soccer or golf if not for them. And then there's music, no rock 'n roll, jazz, blues, we'd probably be going to operas and dancing to polka music, ommpa pa. Anyway excuse me while I kiss the sky.

We're born apart to realize we're not...this may become a thing of the past.

Now is happening at an ever accelerating rate 1. The Now is growing in pressure because its appearance and immanence is being clearer. The veil is heavy and laden with accumulated baggage.

As Daniel had mentioned in other posts, suggesting the shift doesn't have to be catastrophic, we're currently seeing the unfolding of illusions and the focus and strength of consciousness growing.

Given our current Global situations. For many it is hard to discern the truth from lies but because of the communication infrastructure and people's ability to think/ feel critically grows - required by the importance and pressure of The Now = moment, this is going in accordance with the shift. An arriving here but with a new understanding. 1 - This communication infrastructure is allowing people around the globe to trade info, news and important information to be obtained instantly, though with the aid of machines - what’s next ? ; )

Do we make 2012 or a shift more complex than it is. What did the Mesoamericans and other cultures do but listen & observe?

Some civilizations fall at the mishandling of the 'masters' and the slaves live on...what is that biblical passage...oh, yeah, the meek shall inherit the earth.

If you're upset by not having a laptop or microwave for living ease, transition will likely be difficult. Technology is serving its purpose, but I wouldn't be too attached to it. See Derrick Jensen's Endgame or for a good synopsis of the reasoning for the death of technology see the interview with him in the recent Arthur mag. Info is speeding up but so is this great intention to manipulate it to the wrong ends which is stocking up the karmic return. I can't see (don't intuit) modern technology being there for the great shift, however that may be experienced.

I am excited by the shifting. Of course it has been an ongoing process. It didn't start at the millenium or 9-11, but has grown more intense. I notice it in my interactions with others, this board, and the earth. The earth is the one thing that we will need to know more intensely than we (we referring to westernized v. indigenous people) have recently. Hopefully, we'll recognize it as our ship to change, part of our being rather than an other.
