im well aquainted with the usual trend of prophecy manifestation,and so i am aware that it almost never happens like expect it. I had heard however, that we ae entering an increasingly turbulant solar flare cycle. there are somehow able to predict the activity and found that apperantlty the cycle is expected to peak at the end of 2012. her is some info from CNN.com

Ah ship.I thought you were going to say it was now.
I'm thinking of building an underground house and lining it with lead and copper,to block out the harmful wavesand create others.
The last time it flared up it fried my skin and made a bunch of satellites vulnerable.

Yes I remember the last period of sunspots.
