i am looking for a director for an award winning screenplay i wrote. it's a dark humored drug movie that features a dream manipulating, radionics weilding kid trying to theive his way out of the country before the world around him and his reality quite literally fall apart. it won best screenplay at the San Diego film festival last year and, in my admittedly biased opinion, could be a very successful indie if put in the right hands. it would sit comfortably somewhere in the large space between "Spunn", "Repo Man", and maybe "The Secret Lives of Alter Boys".

at this point i really want to see this made and am thinking going the route of hitting some of the on-line communities, etc. i'm involved in might connect the right film maker with this.

so if you're interested please PM me and i will get you a copy of the script. while it is registered with the WGA i will still ask you to sign a release form and fax it back to me before i send you the script.

here's the logline if you're interested:
"Three friends and a sharp-tongued 11 year old seek escape from a hostile America - and consensus reality - by lighting out across country on a drug-fueled, reality-bending crime spree."

looks fucking excellent sire!!!

would that i had the experience necessary to pull such a thing off (even guerrilla film making need skills.)

abosolute best of luck with that, when i can spare the time, and energy i'll see what i can contribute to manifesting it.

would really love to see that movie.

that option has been considered, i'm more interested in the writing aspects than producing, casting, directing, etc. i want to find someone with enthusiasm and energy for that as i'm ready to move on but still want to see the thing made.

And I for Juan don't want to see anymore BS,violence or porno like you're trying to push Sire.

oh, fascinating.
