Being a well read researcher, i was dissapointed that our local bookstore didnt carry Daniel's book.
I thought about, and then put it out to the Universe i wanted to read this book.
A week later a friend brings his copy by, and i ate it up in 3 days.
Although we both come from different back grounds, i found it refreshing to read about another persons inquiry into pretty much exactly what i was into, cept for the crop circles, I had very much indeed pondered the same Questions and delt with similar people in similar fashions over the past 15 years of my life.
2012, was a great read, Daniel has artistically, and poetically, induced a series of mind bending idea's, and theories, weaving together a entheogenic soaked science factional story of personal transformation.
What Terence Mckenna's "Archaic Revival" did for my mind in the mid 90's, Daniel's "2012," did for me in the mid 2000's. It REALLY helps to have individuals such as Daniel, outside the acedemic realm of psy-ecology to
filter and redefine the times we are living in.
I found his repeated skeptism, yet unadaulterated fascination and courage, to be refreashing, as he reveals his experiences he never fails to write about his doubts, and reminds us that there is a difference between truth and specuation, I look forward to reading "Breaking open the head."
this book also inspired me to look into IBOGAINE as a means of treating opiate addiction for a family memeber.
Thanks eh?
