Hey all
here is an interesting article on the effects of the moon on human behaviour. Its funny how they have no solid idea how to explain this at all...

Well I'm glad this has gotten mainstream scientific proof again since most scientists (Berman's recent book -- can't remember his first name off-hand) reject the Moon studies.
Here it is Bob Berman "Strange Universe" (2004)
http://www.amazon.com/Strange-Universe-Science-Everyday-Life/dp/0805075836/sr=1-2/qid=1169671627/ref=sr_1_2/103-9311333-4451039?ie=UTF8&s=books
Pretty recent and he claims all the moon studies are bunk! ha -- now he's wrong!
"It is suggested that melatonin and endogenous steroids [which are naturally occurring in humans] may mediate the described cyclic alterations of physiological processes. Electromagnetic radiation and/or the gravitational pull of the Moon may trigger the release of hormones.''
It's quite sad that modern humans are disconnected from the moon (or at least men). Meditation is 10 times more effective at 3 days before Full Moon and then till 3 days after.
It's definitely because of the pineal gland's melatonin -- my head always feels likes its about to break open and that's what tells me the full moon is arriving! Most calendars don't track the moon which is tragic so I end up going -- "why is the meditation kicking in so strong at say 10 pm?" until I end up checking the moon cycle.
haha.
