New 2012 book

Did this get posted yet? I perused it at B&N and wasn't impressed. It's some thinktank analysis of how we're all doomed at 2012 but the science used is just overview stuff that most well-read people already know.

How much did you peruse?
More than just the dust cover?
To be honest with you, I don't think this is the kind of book you can "casually" peruse while standing in a B & N store...delve a little deeper and I bet you get as much out of it as most of us here have...if you're lucky.

Doggone it I went and bought that book. I couldn't wait to read it and started on it right away. OW! OUCH! OW! OW! OW! MUMBO JUMBO!
BIG WORDS! LONG SENTENCES OF EMPTINESS! OW! OW! OW! STOP IT!
but I didn't, and I finished it down to the last hollow chaptor. Give me a gun and I'll shoot myself. I shoulda "perused" it before I bought it. Hell I'm too busy looking up the big words you guys use.:(
