I was searching on salvia and flying and astral travel. After reading more reports of salvia extract results -- there's one website devoted to selling salvia 10x as an astral travel tool -- I'm fascinated by the physiological effects of astral travel.
When I smoked 10x Salvia extract -- supposedly standardized, although the company Salvia Revolution doesn't offer much information.... -- I felt my spirit -- my consciousness -- being pulled out of my body, while I was sitting in full-lotus.
Once I pulled the spirit of a lady out of her body -- I did this after a week of sitting in full-lotus, fasting with next to no water, and practicing the small universe and tai-chi. She sobbed for at least 15 minutes straight. I never touched her -- and she didn't see what I was doing to her, as she was facing forward in a chair and I was behind her, to the left side, with my hand pointed at her head.
Her spirit didn't go far and went back into her body immediately.
Anyway for the spirit to leave the body it has to be powered by chi -- and jing. Jing is the electrochemical energy and Salvia DEFINITELY increases the jing.
But Salvia does not increase the Chi energy that greatly.
Chi is electromagnetic fields.
So I do think that while there is some real astral travel from salvia it's not that far. Most experiences I've read of have been - pulled through the floor or felt my body to be merged with the floor or the wall of the room. The astral travel on salvia website describes flying out of the crown of the head -- that's exactly what I did to the lady who had asked for a healing from me.
So limited astral travel on salvia makes sense.
I think the visions -- the elf-realm of Salvia, reported by D.M. Turner, and even the elf-realm of DMT -- are just that -- induced by the pre-conceived notions of the human mind. Sort of humunculus of the brain. In fact I've had such elves in my vision but just once and very briefly. I immediately realized it was not an astral realm but just a projection and I also remembered that a friend of my sister's diagnosed with schizophrenia had seen such elves regularly as a kid, but never told anyone. The elve vision is more like a hypnogogic experience.
For example the "green lady" of Salvia appears to be induced by the fact that chewing salvia turns your whole mouth green and taking the bright green leaves out of your mouth is an intense green vision. It's a very intense GREEN experience and also it dramatically activates your sexual energy. Hence the Green Lady.
Using my full-lotus power I did not let the 10x Salvia extract rip my consciousness from my body.
On 17x when I blacked out and came to -- being disoriented with the feeling that my real life was just a dream -- LEVEL 6 on Salvia trip terms -- it reminded me of coming to from my anesthetic at the dentist when I had my wisdom teeth pulled.
That's the only time I've ever blacked out -- except when I held my breath too long while in first grade. According to current medical information it's impossible to hold your breath until you passed out because the anterior gyrus circulate or something -- in your thalamus -- overcomes your prefrontal cortex intention.
Obviously the doctors are wrong.
Anyway the medical literature on psychoactives is that they turn off the brain's thalamus and cause direct download of the cerebellum into the prefrontal cortex -- hence the LEVEL 3 hallunications of a Salvia trip.
Level 4 is the astral flying experience -- again real but limited by the lack of electromagnetic chi stored in the body -- into the murky realm of LEVEL 5, metaphysical reckoning with the void, the formless awareness.
The "astral tube" that I mentioned to Daniel is only really powerful once the 3rd Eye is fully open. This is not astral travel but enables a telescopic 4th dimension spacetime connection with whatever your intention desires -- all you need is name, sex, age and general location, city, etc. Once the 4th dimension connection is made, through the 3rd Eye being fully open, then your body's CHI can heal that person. But the CHI has to be created through first the transformation of JING -- electrochemical hormones and then the CHI and JING are renewed through the FORMLESS AWARENESS -- the source of the 3rd Eye 4th dimension vision realm. The process to renew that energy is through Pyramid Power -- the vortex resonance of the Tai-Chi symbol or OM or Tetrad -- in 3 dimensions as the Full-Lotus body-mind position.
As Master Nan, Huai-chin states, most people trying to fully open the 3rd Eye, fall back into worldliness through heroic overexcuberance -- because of the increased CHI and JING powers built up in the process leading up to stabilization of the 3rd Eye spirit travel.
