Do the gates stand open?

Someone said that the gates had been opened and that the effects would show in the actions of human beings. Daimonic realms would start to manifest in the physical world in the actions and creations of people. New dimensions have already been created.

Is this a very culture bound assessment? Have the gates been open between worlds the whole time? Is it the fact that we deny the knowledge of there even being anything other than the material realm that the pressure is mounting?

As an adjective the word typically means:

Befitting a demon; fiendish.
Motivated by a spiritual force or genius; inspired.
But as a noun the word represents a literary term:

The unrest that exists in us all which forces us into the unknown, leading to self-destruction and/or self-discovery.
The journey and transition from innocence to experience.
The place where light and dark meet.

Soooo,
I would say that gates and communication, both light and dark, have always been open and will continue to be open. In my opinion with the current globalization structure of generally materalism at expense of, instead of in harmony with, the spiritual nature of man and matter, there is a great pressure that is building and will continue to build until more of true communication and openess to being and matter will manifest.
Pinchbeck says this is already occuring, though subliminally to most, which I attribute to the pressure.
So I view world society and government as such, The unrest that exists in us all which forces us into the unknown, leading to self-destruction and/or self-discovery.
There is so much theory by so many people I attribute wisdom to about how this will play out in the near future that it is interesting to be along for the ride and see what happens.
