I have been seeking to post here for some time, and am not sure if this is the right category for this type of post, but I recieved this news this morning and am pushed to action, so please check out the following articles and help me fight against this by commenting or signing the petitions
As an aspiring ethnobotanist, and one who studies medicines alternative to what our Western culture provides I believe this topic applicable to those here, so please read the following articles carefully and if you disagree with what the FDA is doing(which I believe you all will) then please help me fight this and spread attention to this.

yeah i read about this. very unfortunate. i hope that enough people will take action in order to prevent this from happening.

just goes to show how western medicine is primarily a fascist corporate monopoly... the mentality is to crush the competition at all costs.... with no actual regard for peoples' health...

So glad to see this issue popping up everywhere on the net. It's not only the FDA but the global governing body of the CODEX laws we need to be aware of. I don't remember the exact figure, but several million people will die if the CODEX regs are applied globally. The governing bodies, mainly the g8+, are all aware of the implications of such laws. The proposed FDA regs (CAM) would also be adopted by Mexico and Canada. T I would like to see some bigger names in the medical field who support complimentary medicine, like Andrew Weil or Dean Ornish, speaking out about this. The dr. and general are doing excellent work and I would urge you to use their website as an activism tool. ime to plant our gardens and heal each other!
