I don't think Darwin had it right. Maybe "natural selection" describes nature in its immediate evolution, for, I do think that all life is imbued with innate intelligence and will interact with its environment in the short term. But I'm not so sure I believe that all the life on this entire Earth has evolved from a single simple source.

What if life on this planet was the immediate creation of our own life force? Isn't is just as possible that mankind burst on the scene from the song of some great god? And I'm not describing the Christian fairy tale of creation. If all of life has evolved from the same source, where are all the missing links in the fossil record?

I think that we truly don't understand the power of creation in this Universe. We're always looking for a rational answer but I think this one truly defies logic.

What do the plants tell us about the nature of our emergence on this planet? They've been here a lot longer, and they'll probably out-live us.
