Do you think it would be wise to exchange cash for a little gold and hoardsome food etc due to the posible economic collapse?

Canned sardines are pretty good & can be stored for years. I eat them whole, with skins. I'm too lazy to clean them, and anyway, their little guts get smeared all over the place when I try and half the damn fish sticks to the guts & spine so you lose a lot of the meat that way. Why be a primadonna about it -- I finally told myself. There are people in Thailand who eat crickets. There's no way in hell I could do that, but I can eat a whole sardine without thinking twice now. Try them with oil and vinegar on a thick whole grain bread, with onions and a few tomato slices. To top it off, they only cost $1/tin. Two tins will do you for a big sandwich.

Had an amazing dream last night perhaps on the back of finishing 2012.

Parts I recall are as follows. I was kissing this girl but part of the process involved biting a piece of flesh from the others shoulder or back. This was followed by a storm in a seaport town which was so bad that some of us were advised to head for the desert to hunt for gold, which we did and once there we were greeted by a master of ceremonies who started us off into a trace state which involved a route through about 3 stages/rooms, each room involving increased ecstatic erotic encounters and after this we were directed up a hill or temple which had ceremonial tracks lined with various ritualistic wardens.

It played out like a tape and because certain images, like the desert sand at dusk blowing over old corner steps seemed so archetypal I thought I would write it out for you here. Quetzalcoatle was mentioned somewhere also.
