View Full Version : Steiner Book Reference Needed
Hi,
Listened to Daniel's program on Coast to Coast and was very intriqued by his reference to Steiner's third/fourth world work and in specific, to the shift of re-creation moving from the lower chakras via sex to the higher via the voice. Any reference to what Steiner publication this may be found in?
TIA.

i have no aim to belittle anyone, but i like to stand up for myself, and other's not so bolschy as me...
The Green Goddess, (bowing to the Lord) *lol*
ps. this is the first time in YEARS i have pinched anything else than an ashtray or a cool glass from a licenced establishment, but i know the manageress, and when i asked if i could nock this bottle she said she didn't understand why the owners didn't put cheap plonk out, 'cause lots of bottles were gone every month...grrrreat PR, i reckon.
long live Andy Warhol and his cronies...hey! noone liked them either, back then!
sorry daniel and all, that the thread is hijacked from Steiner....but Steiner was also a life loving man....like Kafka, but all these sourfaced donkeys took their smiles and freedom away, WAY too early in their career...
Cheers! daniel! *klink*

I'm on my way to turn my buffalo steak over and pour me a glass of wine.Merlot I believe tonight.
Fitz...be patient, you will get a legitimate answer eventually! I know that Steiner's "Cosmic Memory" mentions it...there may be another book of his that goes into more depth on that subject.
Anyone? Anyone? Beuller?

buffalo is happy to be turned over for your family, i am sure...you know, the funniest thing i saw when i first got online...i believe i got my first hotmail address in 1997...was a site called "vegetarians against Morrissey".
nothing against vegetarians, nothing against Morrissey, but the contradiction in itself was hilarious!

yes fitz, don't bother with the entheogens too much if it is clarity you are after, chinese herbal medicine is expensive still, but downright cheaper than that gramme of coke most people snort in a day...i'd say a weeks herbal brew gives you more pleasure than one night's blow...and mind you don't acquire that synthetic crap the call coke, whether it is in a can or a seal!

C'mon, guys...let's help Fitz out here. (Get a room, you hornets. Damn!)
Steiner.
Third / Fourth world.
Creation shift from sex to throat chakra.
I'm not able to adequately address his question...but this thread is titled "Steiner Book Reference Needed", for christ's sake! And i think this specific topic deserves discussion...i'm interested in hearing anyone's elaboration on this topic myself...Whitewave? Daniel? Anyone?
Let's stay on topic, and help Fitz out here.

Steiner, finer, piner, miner it's all about being here now Tana.
We've finally got a post about all of us coming together on the road to AZ and burning man and I want to keep it on everyone's mind.
Everybody out east will meet up at wolf's place next September and head this way on I=40 to Burning Man.
I've got nothing against Burning man and all the freedoms there but it seemed to me everytime I went,no matter what time I went to bed I woke up with a pile of shit outside my tent the next morning.
All of you,who want to accompany Daniel to his paradise and Burning Man will be allowed to leave and you'll soon understand why God selected Oklahoma as his place to spread heaven.

hmm...would steiner and his anthroposophy creativity appreciate sex wine and rants which are far from scant in this thread??? would steiner become a whiner if the chickaroo would take up with his come on down to the farm talk??
these are heady questions perhaps best left for the experts.
until Daniel comes into this thread, which i imagine he does, to answer the question about which book he was referring to the other night on coast to coast, i would just say....know that steiner wrote and wrote and wrote...there are many far out complex intellectually intense realities to which he spoke. you can try this theosophy link
http://www.uoguelph.ca/philosophy/faculty/images/Steiner%20-%20Theosophy.doc
to read some of him, while you wait for "the reply" and if you get bored with the banter in this place. the planet i mean :~)

I knew there was alot of creative energy flowing through the board last night.
I thought maybe it was the wine, the waning full moon and buffalo steak.
Perhaps Steiner is trying to find a way back in.
But you're right Tana so I'm going back to Psychiatry and it's all OK.

Cosmic Memory it is. Also he discusses the Jupiter State / Fifth World in Outline of Esoteric Science, and in some of the volumes of Karmic Relationships. From what I can glean, he proposes the following:
1. reproduction moves from the second chakra (genitals) to the fifth chakra (throat). I see this suggested by DMT / ayahuasca experiences.
2. All levels of being undergo an upgrade in consciousness. Plants and rocks become more conscious. Plants are in a state similar to "dreamless sleep" now; they ascend into something akin to "dream sleep." (Once again, psychedelics are suggestive). The animal kingdom does not exist in its present form.
3. Humanity splits into several different "human kingdoms" undergoing different forms of evolution depending on their level of consciousness. Eventually, souls that refuse to evolve or choose a completely corrupt path will split off from the mainstream to form an "unredeemable moon," undergoing a development that is inconceivable from our present perspective.
4. The heart become sa voluntary muscle, an instrument of soul-expression under our conscious control. According to Steiner, this future development is already indicated by the way we currently blush or turn pale, depending on our emotional state. Hands – which we currently use to gesture and illustrate the ideas issuing from our larynx as sound-vibrations – will become purely etheric instruments.
5. Generally, we now confuse three aspects -- thinking, feeling, and willing We will gain control over these aspects and they will become as separate as the different types of bees that work in the beehive - the beehive is a gift from Venus, foreshadowing our future condition. It is interesting that the beehive is the approximate size and same temperature as the human head.
6. We currently consist of four bodies - the "I", the astral body, ether body, and physical body. In the Jupiter State, the I will take control of the astral body, transforming it to create a "spirit self." In the next phase after that, the I takes control of the ether body, and then the physical body.
7. We will no longer "compete" for space or attention, enjoying a condition that allows us to interpenetrate and interfuse, sort of like clouds. In Karmic Relationships Volume VI, Steiner describes the current existence of the "Jupiter Beings," which I can only assume is meant as a forecast of what it will be like for us:
"The Jupiter Beings are unlike the men of Earth. When a man of Earth wants to grow wise, he must undergo inner development, he must struggle, battle inwardly and overcome; through periods that are filled with active development the human being struggles to acquire an unpretentious form of wisdom. Not so the Jupiter Beings. They are not ‘born’ as earthly beings are born, they form themselves out of the Cosmos. Just as you can see a cloud taking shape, so do the Jupiter Beings form themselves in the etheric and astral worlds, out of the Cosmos. Neither do they die. They interpenetrate one another, do not, as it were compete with each other for space. These Beings are, so to speak, wisdom that has become real and actual. Wisdom is innate in them; they cannot be other than wise. Just as we have circulating blood, so have the Jupiter Beings wisdom. It is their very nature."
8. My assumption is that time becomes something completely different in these future states.

heyo fitz. there is another of steiner's books - one of only two i've managed to read - which i think you'd find quite enjoyable, Harmony of the Creative Word. it's a series of lectures detailing the creation of world ages according to his beliefs. it's beautifully written. also if you dig through the board you'll find many more reccomended books by steiner.
isiah and nanouk, i know this may fall on deaf ears and really there is no need to respond, but as another participant on this board i'm really growing tired with your hobby of vandalizing these threads. can you respect the community and just keep your posts on point? thanks...

Manning,
As you have suspected I use this site (BOTH) as a way to conduct a bit of psychotherapy of my own.
I can come online, scream, yell, rant, make fun of,and not feel that it is going to make a whole lot of difference in my immediate environment.
I really try to be intelligent and sensitive on most occasions but ever once in awhile a bit of the bizarreness that was created by the over abuse of somatic therapies comes through.
I feel there is a unique group of people here who,on the whole, are intelligent and relatively nonjudgemental in their posts.
I hope,as trying as it must be at times, that each of you see an uniqueness in me and my quality of thinking.
In regard to my own personal cricifixion I regard it no differently than any other person who has gone to war.I want no sympathy nor will give any quarter to those who chose to start a war with me.For the most part they are dead and gone and if I get close to where they are buried I will curse that ground too.
I am fully aware that most of that which happened to me was for the most part in my control. To put it all in perspective,I came to finish something that another man started and I will not falter to that end.
I appreciate you all and will try harder not to be so blunt with you.I mean no harm.

That's interesting. I'll have to add those Steiner books to my wish list. Incidentally, I linked the wrong link last night. I meant to recommend Steiner's autobiography (http://wn.rsarchive.org/sumries.txt;bytes=107245-107915), not biography.

</font> Rudolph Steiner and The Crossing of the Threshold
by Gregory Joly
Rudolph Steiner (1861-1925), is most noted for his founding of the Anthroposophical Society, ‘Camp Hill’ communities, and for the development of the Waldorf educational system. He was also a well published scientific, literary, and philosophical scholar, particularly known for his work on Goethe’s scientific writings. Steiner’s multifaceted genius has led to innovative and holistic approaches in medicine, science, special education, religion, economics, philosophy, agriculture (Biodynamic method), architecture, drama, and new arts of eurythmy and speech, amongst other fields.
The following excerpts from his book ‘An outline of Esoteric Science’ (circa 1910) were chosen to corroborate the work of other contributors (to this site), who, like Steiner, foretold of spiritual evolutionary changes now besetting humanity. His keen ability to engage ‘super-sensible’ cognition of the evolutionary forces at play behind creation have resulted in a significant contribution towards helping us understand both where we’ve come from and where we’re going.</font>Read the full article here: Steiner on Esoteric Science (http://64.233.179.104/search?q=cache:jZdPOh9cJVQJ:www.diagnosis2012.co.u k/stein.htm+Jupiter+State%2BSteiner&hl=en)

Steiner also said that our life or etheric bodies are beginning to "loosen" from the physical. This change is symptomatic of humanity's "crossing of the threshold", of humanity's evolution into higher realms. It is important to note, however, that today's humanity must consciously work with these changes or they will lead to various pathologies...
Some contemporary anthroposophists (see Kuhlewind) believe that we are seeing the incarnation of increasing numbers of so-called "Star Children" (dubbed "indigo children" by the New Agers). These children are highly precocious spiritually; many are thought to be clairentient. They have high ideals and are very empathic. They reject meaningless rules and empty tradition and can see through adult dishonesty and insincerity. Don't lie to them!
Also, they have a difficulty "fitting" into their bodies (e.g. motor skills and spatial orientation). Most disturbingly, they are often "diagnosed" and "treated". Many resort to criminality and drugs. In anthroposophical terms they are thought to be "outriders" of the "Spirit-Self".
