Language has always had two basic components the writer (speaker) and the reader (listener).

Although I have had differences of opinion with Daniel Pinchbeck, I have no doubt in my mind the title of his book, Breaking Open the Head, is among the best four word sequence I have yet to read or hear.

I certainly respect the review you have linked, but I am not in agreement concerning the four words of the book's title.

i agreed pretty much overall with the review, except, like sidecross, with the notion on the title, which i also think is great.
