Hi, folks! I am writing this post to ask everyone (esp. Daniel) whether my interest and study of Peruvian/Incan shamanism is something I should continue with, or focus more on programs that feature the teachings and practices of Steiner's work (e.g., the School of Spritual Psychology by Robert Sardello)? My aim is to connect with the spiritual realms for personal and planetary healing. (If I understand your book correctly, shamanism is an out-dated, atavistic method of attaining this objective, since it involves a partial loss of consciousness, characteristic of earlier states of human development.)

BTW, I am currently involved in a study group called Vistar, which combines the ideas of Gurdjieff, Steiner, and other non-dualistic teachings to help educate people about the true nature of human beings. It has been very interesting, but its main focus is on realizing one's true identity and releasing the identification with one's socially conditioned "personality".... Thanks!
