Hi everybody,
Recently an automatic notification appeared in my Inbox informing me that the licensing for the forum software on this site was up for renewal and that the forums would become unusable soon (tomorrow, actually). I no longer seem to have any sort of relationship with Daniel Pinchbeck but just the same, I went ahead and renewed the basic forum licensing on my own budget so we are probably good to go for the next year.
I realize it's probably a surprise to most of you to see me posting here. Long story short, certain events overtook me and my life took a very dramatic turn on multiple levels in a stranger-than-fiction sort of way. Although I have a ways to go before I'll be more outwardly active I believe I am actually beginning to emerge again.
The total cost for this year's software licensing renewal was $85. The last time donations were requested my total expenses were, within a few months, covered about 95% (well, overlooking the actual number of man hours I put in, that is). So if you feel compelled to donate you may do so knowing that although I may not check in often I'm still around, honoring my (or our) memories of what the Breaking Open The Head book and web site have represented and effected over the years. If you're not in a position to help, that's perfectly OK too. Thanks.

I will donate $30 to keep the site going.
I too do not have contact with daniel so please tell how I can pay my $30 donation.
Thank you for helping forteanjones.

I'm good for $30 Forte--PM your address if you wish.
Glad you are in Oregon--hope it is paradise for you, as it was for me.

good to hear you resurface.
Is the "Donate" link above still working?
If so, I will.
If not, PM with an address and I too will send $30.

If the "Donate" is still in effect than the three, sidecross, willoweyes, & craazyman have the cost covered.
I hope one of the current 'Moderators' can give us an answer.
We have a wonderful web site with a rich history; it is worth preserving.

Yeah FJ,it is good to see you are back.
I for one would really enjoy hearing about what's been going on with your life these past few months. Was it fame and fortune or a schizophrenic break?
I lived in Seaside and Astoria for a season and really enjoyed Oregon while I was there although I did encounter alot of truly "lost" people.I guess they are every where though.Except Oklahoma-only thieves and desperados live here.

Hey everybody,
Thanks for the donations. A total of $30 came in, which is good enough for me. A couple of folks asked for an alternative means of contributing but I think I would prefer to keep my mailing address private for now. No biggie and it's actually gratifying to see that people care.
More updates on my own situation in the future, as I am still caught up in the transition.

forteanajones I would be happy to fulfill the $30 donation I promised, but I can not see the "Donate Button".
My first attempt would not work, but I would try "PayPal" again if it is used knowing you have recieved the funds.

FJ,you didn't do something wierd to yourself did you?
You can get mail addressed to you through General Delivery at any post office.
But then you'd have to give out your name and the thing might come and get all the money.
Just teasing you FJ.
And I'm called paranoid?:D

You'd think SueBee,with me suffering my sore ass off, having to live by a wood fire, with ice and no power all about, that someone would try to get this Native American to Mexico as soon as possible.
You may donate some good wine SB.
