During the Conference Presentations you will have ample opportunities to hear the many shamans speaking alone as well as in panel discussions. It is during this time that you will get a sense of which healer you would like to be in Ceremony with. Especially during the question and answer times. There are three evenings set aside for you to be in Ceremony with the shaman - curandero or your choice. All Ceremonies are held outside of Iquitos, either up or downriver or way out on the Iquitos to Nauta highway and then a short 15 minute walk into the various Compounds.

Your transport to the location of the Ceremonies are provided by the Conference and your pickup and return to your lodging the following morning is also part of the service.

There are 6 days-evenings of Conference Presentations at the beautiful Hotel El Parthenon. Dinner is catered, another service provided by the Conference. The indigenous groups of the Shipibo's, Bora's and Yagua's always present their traditional dances for us during dinner.

For those that would like to stay outside of the noise of Iquitos city, the Soga Del Alma (Vine of the Soul) maloca is provided free of charge for your use. Transport to and from the maloca which is located near to Iquitos but upriver on the Rio Itaya, is also provided. Many of you might like to bring your tents and camp on the manicured and ample grounds by the maloca as well.

A nice listing of hostals and hotels with their respective prices are posted on the website under Accomodations. When you click on that, on the upper lefthand corner are photos of the Soga Del Alma maloca.

Finally, the host of this event is Chinchilejo E.I.R.L., owned and operated by my beautiful wife Mariella Noriega Pina. Chinchilejo is also a travel agency so just book your flights roundtrip to Lima as the travel agencies outside of Iquitos typically charge way too much for the Lima - Iquitos flights and roundtrips. Mariella can book these for you and give you the ETICKET CODE via your email. She can be contacted at chinchilejo@hotmail.com and www.chinchilejo-tours.com She will need the time and date of your arrival and departure into and out of Lima, your name as it appears on your passport, passport number and country or origin. Once she reserves, you must send the funds to her via either MoneyGram or Western Union. MoneyGram is quite a bit less expensive then Western Union but sometimes not as convenient.

Payment of a deposit for the Conference is being managed by Dr. Richard Grossman. He will be set up to accept all credit cards, money orders, checks as well as PayPal, Xoom. This will be ready shortly.

There will be many other programs available for your choice both before and following the Conference. These will soon be posted on the website of www.chinchilejo-tours.com and www.soga-del-alma.org

Cheers~!

Gee says,Christ.Thank God we're not in jail.
Maybe Daniel will pick some of us to represent BOTH,and pick up the tab for the trip.HaHa.The Trip.
Sounds like great gathering.
For my money,I'd rather drive down to Leon, with some friends, pick up some cactus buttons and head to the hot springs.

If you need a sledgehammer, don't come.

Bless your heart.
Yes,what a great time we'll be having if none of us gets bit by one of those creepy crawly things.
Be sure and post some pictures if I don't get to come.

Peyote,now and forever.

And I don't understand what you mean by sledgehammer.

I'm sure your meeting will take place.
Say a little prayer for me and mine.
