View Full Version : Self-Initiation Into The Golden Dawn Tradition

I am currently undertaking self-initiation via the Cicero book of same name, I've completed all the preliminary mediative work (walking, hyper-awareness etc.) and am on the 4th month of God-Form meditation--Maat, Themis, and for the 3rd and 4th months Thme.
My original date for self-initiation into the grade of (0)=[0] was January 1st 2008, which I am pushing back, due to me not being ready for that step, as well as I have planned a solitary 10 hit LSD meditative trip for New Year's Eve.
So the point of this thread would be and/or is to discuss what I encounter along the path, and for those who have self-initiated, or those who are solitary magicians to add or subtract from the experience in a beneficial way, leading, of course, to greater Becoming in the Great Work.
(I have the exact same thread started on www.bluelight.ru as well, with mostly childish comments added to the discussion, so I figured I try here as well.)

Follow me,ye women of god:
to hell with all the men.
I think.
I am.
Again,say it again.
I hate what I say sometimes because it rarely gets done but I remember what my Father told me.
He was General Counsel for TXU and Reagan moneyman to the right wing armies and Presidents of Latin American countries.
I don't want to inherit his sins as I have plenty enough of my own which Christ died for Bopes.
Kieth;
if you took 10 hits of LSD on New years Eve and don't know this is January, then kid,you are lost lost.

I am well aware that this is January, tomorrow is UFC 80, next month is Valentine's Day etc...Why do Bluelighters say that those who post here just tell you what you want to hear? Implying, I guess, that in order to post it must be argumentative and have nothing to do with the thread topic...

keith i am not familiar with the particular path you are taking and am not asking for you to expain anything you dont need or want to. i will say only that there are plenty of people here interested in journeying, by whatever means, and will welcome anything serious you want to post. most here will also let you know if they think you are in need of any help along the way.

Who do you think is the Boss here Keith?God?HaHa.Hail Daniel.
We have a common objective based upon common respect built up over some time.
We respect each other and realize that we all are "the messiah".

Um, can anyone tell me whether or not this Isiah Mpski is ever coherent or genuinely clever?

I self satisfied my entry. I am not sure I recamend it now having arrived at this juncture. Perhaps ignorance is bliss. I have really come to realize I just awoke to the fact that I was awake the whole time and just running from that reality. I was born innocent and remained that way untile I tried to sell out many times.
Now here I am and where ever I go there I Am.

There have been a few teachings within the BOTA lessons that've seemed more like bullshit and myth, some of it said to be false in other books, and some of the science wrong or outdated as a simple reading of Richard Dawkins will show.
And so I email. I get this fucking one-line reply, "Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it..." to all my questions. It seems to me some one is "playing occult" rather than actual Work.
But I think its time to separate from them; I'm reading Dion Fortune's THE MYSTICAL QABALAH as part of my Suggested Reading for the 0=0 grade in the Cicero SELF-INITIATION course, and Fortune wrote in Chapter 2. The Choice of Path, 1., "...the student who sets out to be an eclectic before he has made himself an expert will never be anything more than a dabbler."
That has really stuck with me and motivated me to dedicate myself and my Work solely to the G.'.D.'., and I've felt elated since then.

We are all on a singular path of discovery whether or not guided by our own whim or someone else’s.
The fact that we live in space-time makes the path spiral.
The concept that anyone can arrive at the end of such a path is preposterous.

In the immortal words of Brother Bob:
"Don't follow leaders; watch the parking meters."
Beware sonorous pronouncements. You can take that to the bank.
And the sonorific: "producing sound or noise, as the organs that a cricket rubs together to make its chirping sound."
Sidecross, I just finished "The Black Swan"; "enjoyed" it--would still recommend "The Drunkard's Walk" and surely "Outliers" if I could get my hands on it. Maybe in Santa Fe, where I plan to be in five days.
You can't say too much about uncertainty.

Yes,I am genuine Keith,
So much so we are in a deal to change this site from a guy who believes he is Quetsowhatever to one who had a similar experience as Daniel but a bit higher up in the scales of myth fulfilment.Kinda like a synthesis between John the Baptist and Jesus Christ.Kinda like Moses.:hmm:
One who came to his realization on the shores of the ocean witnesed by James and John,to fulfil prophecy.;)
I believe,therefore I am,but I can do little without my Father in Heaven.:D
Again,if this site goes down remember "The Farm" at the intersection of Interstate 40 and the mile of lakefront it goes through.
That is the farm.exit 262 I believe-Lotawatah Rd.Eastern Oklahoma.
Write it down.We need people to work in the garden.
