Check out these two formations. In the first it looks like kundalini energy is being represented, with the crown chakra as wings. The three small circles at the top are hinting at something beyond.
The second one seems to be an elaboration on the first, telling us something about what happens beyond the crown chakra. Are we being given a picture here in our next step of evolution? Are we about to leave our bodies behind and discover a dimension undreamed of even by the most enlightened in the past?
One thing that occured to me recently is that these formations are like a test, in a way. Those who look at the formations and say they are manmade and look away, surely they fail. But when we look at them, looking for some validation of some Presence from beyond, do we not also fail? Isn't the true point to look at them and achieve Wonder? Isn't focusing on the cause (in any way) to miss the point?
In either case, we're taking a Step Up.
It's happening in music too. I just saw a documentary on Scratch DJs. Some of these guys think they're contact aliens. You can hear it the music. It IS intergalactic. There is music out there right now, being made, that is just as transmormative and dimension-shifting as any crop circle.

thanks, michael - looking at these after reading your comments gave me serious goosebumps. I accord with your perspective - about the movie Scratch as well.
Our meeting with the alien is an ongoing process: the deepening realization that the alien is us.

One more thing about that first formation...
You posted something about kundalini energy, and about transforming the sexual energy into the higher chakras. (I'm been using that mantra, by the way). I've read in some books on kundalini yoga that an important practice is to take the energy from all the lower three chakras and send it upwards instead of letting it be trapped down there. Now you'll notice in this formation that the kundalini coils, which normally go all the way down to the root chakra, here are not connected to those lower three. The idea is that we are ready to harness that energy in a concerted way. It's like the discovery of a new energy source, without pollution. It's like a fusion reactor.

Hi Michael
Great observations in your post.
I will add here my prospective - I teach a meditation/energy practice called "awakening your light body" and I am clairvoyant of chakras and energy fields. I have never quite figured out if what I do is the same as the awakening of the kundalini, as I have not explored the eastern practices and definitions much in this life. But I am sure there must at least be overlaps.
I will explain using the vocabulary I am used to. As you observed in your post, the chakra system can function as an energy harnessing bio-psychic machine. The three lower chakras (root, sacral and solar plexus) serve to harness and focus the energies into the heart and higher chakras. Following specific steps - that may take months of preparation - the energies can be sent into the heart and higher chakras where they are harmonized and rarefied. If following each step thoroughly, the energy will then burst out at the top of the head and can be made, with conscious intention, to fold upon itself, so that it reconnects with the harnessing mechanism set up at the base chakra. When this happens, the energies in the central channel (the channel that runs parallel to the spine) are so harmonized, that they gain a momentum of their own, creating circular/toroid shaped moving streams of energy that go from the base chakra, up the vertical channel, through the crown, shoot up from the crown fold to the sides, curve down towards the knees, curve up to the root chakra and the cycle starts over. It creates a kind of cocoon of energy centered on the central channel - very similar to the dotted circular lines in the crop circle you posted above (That caught my attention!)
When the energy is very harmonized, the energy cocoon is in constant motion and the lines of energy move very fast. This eventually creates a steady stable altered state in which many insights can be gained. I personally have experienced amazing visions in this state.
Once the energy cocoon has been set up through the chakra system and vibrational points on the central channel, there is a second stage and a third stage can be explored (many more months of practice, sometimes over a year). This stage involves tapping into higher energetic octaves of the heart center and energetic points above the crown, outside of the body.
These last points in particular take one, exactly as you said, in another realm of experience all together. It is almost like a missile launch up into beautiful and rarefied worlds. I call these the sea of light. The experience is very real i.e. I literally can feel myself physically walking on the sea of light that feels dense.
When I very first started learning this meditation practice, I was still heavily into the rave scene, popping pills and hallucinogenics every other weekend. By the time I had worked myself to the heart chakra activation, I decided to quit with all that, because the visions I was getting through meditation where more interesting and the after effects of drugs spoiled my meditation states. When I eventually accessed the higher energy points - stage 3- I was so amazed by what I was seeing and feeling, I spent hours and hours at a time in meditation going up to this place. The feeling was of pure ecstasy and I interacted with pure energetic beings of light in a strange state of collapsed time, where feelings and experiences would overlap at supersonic speed, I would have telepathic communications, I could see the souls of children waiting to be born and visions beyond what can be described in words. I have never felt so much bliss as in these spaces. It was the most incredible feeling of expansion ever. I was hooked.
But I digress...getting back to your observation about the machine...yes, it is my experience that the chakras and the central channel and the points above the crown can be used as an energy rarefying bio-psychic machine that allows for interdimensional travel. We do not have to build anything to go places - we were given the machine all along. It is in our body. I feel this crop circle is talking about this. I notice how also one of the crop circles shows the crown chakra expanded into what looks like a world in its own right with a huge eye in it. I feel the message might be - use you chakras, build the energies, and you will see new expanded worlds. Almost like we are being invited to remember that the chakras are much more than we usually think of them. They are ladders in stages of consciousness waiting to be explored.
These are very exciting crop circles
I was there trekking in the fields amongst the crop circles last year. I wish I could be there again now!

Thank you Michael and Karen for ellucidating an area I had not yet understood well at all. The unfolding mystery continues to get more interesting. The timing of Karen's info could not have been better for me, as just this week I began to practice meditation for the first time, prompted by Healing With Form, Energy and Light (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/1559391766/qid=1091757827/sr=2-1/ref=sr_2_1/102-4747771-1844952).
