Please do not dismiss this, please read it all.

For all of you arrogant, wise-guy unbelievers I have proof that there are Elves. I pray to them, and they always answer my prayers. Sometimes I get what I ask for; sometimes they say no; sometimes they say later; but they always answer. Now you have been told and have no excuses, so beware; there are consequences for denying Elves. Know that Elves will not be mocked!

peace,
Nitin (The Blue Denkenelf)

[Edit : Daniel can you please move this to the correct forum! I apologize in advance]

I originally read this as, ‘Proof that Elvis Exists!’ and was rather excited.

Uh huh.

Well to fully consider the existance of beings, one must consider the burden of proof and the nature of existance. After examining those, some come to the conclusion that knowledge is NOT JTB (Plato's thorey of Justified True Belief), but is rather perception of the world, and one can know something without it being true, justified, but just belived. Hence, using that train of thought, we come to the conclusion that Elves indeed do exist, therefore their answering my prayers is completely relevant due to the fact that their existance has already been proven.

peace,
Nitin

Oh, but if your looking for actual evidence.. ;)

The majority of "evidence" of these miniature humanoid beings are the numerous eye-witness testimonies. Encounters with elf-entities usually occur when the elf approaches a home and requests food or shelter. If the resident refuses to comply with the elf's demands, they would bring misfortune upon the greedy person. Unless harrassed, elves are said to generally avoid contact with humans. The majority of elven legends throughout the world confine these beings to the deep forest, where they lead a reclusive, mysterious life.

In 1932, a 14-inch tall mummy was found by gold prospetcors in the Pedro Mountains 60 miles SW of Casper, Wyming. The tiny mummy was found sitting on a ledge in a small granite cave. Its legs were crossed and arms folded on its lap. It had a flat nose, low foerhead, and a broad, thin-lipped mouth. The mummy was x-rayed and analysed. Harvard University certified the mummy as genuine and believed by some to be of a 65-year old man.

Oh yeah, also look up Lancashire (there were hundreds of miniture tools found there in the 1800's).

peace,
Nitin

I wasn’t questioning the existence of elves, merely hoping for new evidence of Elvis.

I only ever saw one elf – a malicious pink trickster who succeeded in scaring the shit out of me while staying in border country, Ireland. Totally unexpected – no substances bar Guinness for miles.

Come to think of it on my next visit in Ireland I was struck by a paralysing white light while in my hotel bed. But not a Leprechaun in sight…

What exactly did the MPT do, Gelfer, that scared the shit out of you?

He just came up to my face in the dark laughing in a maniacal fashion.

Hate it when that happens.

If anyone was planning their holidays:

In the Land of the Fairy King:
Iceland’s Elf School
By Ann H. Waigand, GoNOMAD LODGINGS GUIDE

Magnus Skarphedinsson’s cheeks are round and rosy. His enthusiasm and childlike wonder make him bound around the room and forget the clock when he’s teaching his class. Add a cone-shaped hat and turned-up toes on his shoes and he might appear, for all the world (except Iceland), like an elf or gnome, albeit a relatively tall one. What he doesn’t look like is one of the more controversial men in Iceland. But he is. Magnus is both the brother of the leader of one of Iceland’s most influential political parties and the head of The Icelandic Elf School.

GELFER

That bit about paralysing white light in a hotel bed - was that true?

I ask because many years ago I was lying in my bed, trying to go to sleep, when I heard a peculiar musical "chant", possibly female, and then my bedroom door opened - by itself - and all the while the chant continued. Then suddenly I was hit by several "streaks/bolts" of blueish light, which literally shook me for a little while - maybe 5-10 seconds - and then I drifted off into a peaceful sleep. There was no further contact, and no nightmares, or peculiar dreams for that matter. And certainly no kind of explanation from any quater.
Whatever it was, it wasn't a dream; and its never been repeated.
Anyone else experience anything similar?

Yep, the paralysing white light was true. I woke myself up with a roar (rather than a scream) and noticed a bar of white light down at my feet. It slowly began to rise along my body like a scan. By the time it reached my waist I realised I couldn’t move anything below where the light had been. As it made its way towards my chest I thought about whether or not I should try and do anything about it, but felt fine about the situation and let it take its course. It continued up to my neck and then quickly shot out the top of my head. I guess in total it took less than ten seconds. I seemed to go back to sleep without any trouble.

I have odd times in hotel rooms. My first post here was the following story:

This particular experience took place in a hotel in Sri Lanka. I found the guy who ran the hotel a little odd, and I felt that he knew that I thought he was a little odd. My room felt strange, particularly the doorway which, when my imagination was at its wildest, felt like some kind of portal.

Several nights passed in this room with me looking at the doorway in the darkness, convinced that something was going to happen as a result of that door. As the days passed the hotelier continued to give me these ‘understanding’ looks, which I continued to ignore.

On the fifth night I awoke to a vision of a man in my room in front of the doorway. He was clearly a local man, screaming and dripping in blood and excrement. The mosquito net between the man and me felt like a shield and I was oddly unafraid. After a brief period I closed my eyes, reopening them to my original empty room. I slept a confused sleep.

The next morning the hotelier was waiting for me at the end of the hallway. ‘Did you experience anything last night?’ he said. I replied in the negative, thinking it prudent to keep such wild visions to myself. ‘A local man was murdered outside this hotel last night,’ he said, and walked off. I left it at that.
