In the new Disinformation Interviews, Metzger interviews Paul Laffoley about his enigmatic paintings. Laffoley refers to one of his paintings as a convecticle, essentially a convecticle is something that attracts a certain set of people to exchange information towards an end of great significance. I suppose something as mundane as a website or message board could be considered a convecticle, but I would be interested in hearing about anyone's experiences with a perhaps more profound convecticle.. maybe a special place that drew your crew of friends together and the circumstances around that, or perhaps even a Dream as a convecticle - finding that you've shared a dream with a certain group of people for some (?) end. And perhaps anyone's ideas on new technologies in convecticles? Thanks!
