I just saw the DVD of this documentary film, which was just released in theaters earlier this year. If you think crop circles are just a hoax, you need to see this film. I used to be skeptical myself until I heard a lecture on the subject two years ago which presented much of the same material that's in this film. The number of crop circles which appear every year, their history (which stretches back into medieval times), their perfection, etc. - if there is a hoax involved, there would have to be a hoaxer with access to technology completely unknown to conventional science, since no rational explanation has yet been found that can account for all their characteristics. One piece of evidence that is presented is the discovery that changes occur at the molecular level in plants that have been inside crop circles. How could that be caused by a couple of hoaxers using wooden planks and stilts? The film is careful to avoid jumping to the conclusion that UFOs must be involved (although the possibility isn't ruled out either), instead focusing on the simple fact that some sort of bizarre forces, whether natural or extraterrestrial, must be involved. And it does present a formidable body of evidence to support this contention. The film also presents a fascinating look at the sub-culture of crop circle researchers which has grown up in England over the past two decades, people who prove to be far from mere fanatics. Even if you saw the film in the theater, the DVD is still worth checking out for the extras included on the disc, such as a film of British military helicopters pursuing a "ball of light" at one crop circle location. If you need proof that there is more on heaven and earth than is dreamt of in our philosophy, this film should provide it!
