Hi, im not sure if these rambling thoughts
require a new thread, but hey, life is too short not to share what's on ones mind. I've been writing off and on for the past few years and have not yet shared much with anyone. eventually i would like to get together with some like minded musicians and start to make some great music, so any feedback, comments or criticisms would be appreciated. i should also probably mention that i am a cancer which may account for a broad point of view along with the pounds of pot that ive smoked.
Our moments are often misguided
permeating this destruction
yet chage i think we're craving
static and thick from skies to sea
its about time to abandon this hierarchy
its taken us as far as we can be taken
We've grown so close how far we've come
Borders are now begging to be broken
so burry the flags, alongside the sacrifice through which we've grown
Religions just hold us back now
they are but remnants of the past
fueling the sins from which we feed
there is no need for salvation
when we were all born free
yet so many are caught up this web now
fundamentalists the preditor preying upon a sense of duality
and if you feel a weight
do not look the other way
cause the future generations are the cause now
can you name a greater loss?
its up to all of us to leave behind the crown and embrace the stars above the trees
