It may be best to shut down BOTH and archive the many years of post up to the time when daniel threatened to shut down the site a few months ago.

forteanajones has written spending hours trying to fix the problem and wrote ‘Much more work remains to be done; just deleting the posts/threads is like bailing water.’

If anything we should have learned that anything, even a web site, can be destroyed when it is taken for granted and not respected and cared for.

hey.I told you to archeive it two days ago and I'd pay for the new computor.
Since we seem to becoming apart online there are a few things I would like to personally address with some members.
First you SC.Seemingly always sober but for some reason ,which I don't understand from an old hippie-an undying attempt to defend Daniel.
That is admirable but a lost cause.Idoltry.

I really do have a farm with a house on it,an oil and a couple of gas wellls and the world will come to an end and you'll wish you were in a place,with some electric and good water and food ,wine and good company.

Archiving a site requires a server not just a computer or at least that is my limited understanding Isaiah.

As for daniel my feelings about him as a person are not good; he took a different path at the fork in the road.
