I am 32 years old I first did mushrooms at fourteen years old. I was living in Quito Ecuador at the time. We found a few good reliable places to find mushrooms. We were doing the cubensis mushrooms. I had eaten mushrooms about 20 times before this very special experience in a cool environment. Maybe I should say spiritual environment that would be more appropriate. Me and my two friends and my friends girlfriend headed out one April afternoon. We were on our way to Pululaua Ecuador. It is an extinct volcanoe about 10 miles from the equator. We were going there to get wild growing Cubensis mushrooms. We got to the village at the base of the crator. We bought a bottle of almost pure alcohol made by the Incan indians of Ecuador. We then headed for the hostile which was a shack with no windows and a tin roof. So the next morning me and my friend Andrew woke up and in the course of waking up my friend Jeff and his girlfriend Carola came walking back they were carrying a bag and smiling. We said whats up and they gave us each two shrooms that were fresh and weighed about four grams a piece. We then walked about a mile to get to the cow pasture. Started to trip on the way. Searched for shrooms for what seemed like a long time and ate as we found them. We ate our fill and started to walk back with also a full bag. We kept eating on the way back. I dont know how many I ended up eating but it was a lot. On the way back the trip was good reality was a thing to not remember only to think that some time later all would be constant and I would be myself whole and complete more complete. I started seeing the vines in the jungle like atmosphere along the trail start to come out growing to choke me. I remembered to think that it was a bad trip coming on and soon the vines let go and peaceful euphoria ensued. I came out of the jungle trail and entered a valley with more cows but no cubensis. I then walked up upon a hill overlooking a large valley surrounded by cliffs visions of diamonds making kaleidescoped three dimensional shifts this would cause my perceptions to shift and I saw things in the future that just have come to pass. I saw faces of people dear to me in the diamonds. The heavenly atmosphere became foggy and light mists of rain descended more like dew I was in the cloud. The day grew and the dimension of a separate reality one that allowed for deep thought intensified by and supported by visions. I found my alternate mushroom reality and learned lessons that all supported my past trips in that land. I never had a bad mushroom trip. I later was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia and I believe firmly that it had no base in my trips since that diagnosis I have been in asylums and unable to work. I plan on doing mushrooms again soon it has been about a year and half since the last time. I love mushrooms I became a better person through their wisdom in my mind. I find them deeply spiritual and sacred. I know now that I live in the U.S it might be hard to find such a place free from police and any threat to the trip. Using mushrooms does not cause such things as schizophrenia I know that and I just wanted to say that in case anyone may read this who wonders if it does.
