View Full Version : Year of Feeling

Hey all,

i have noticed some curious similarties in projected future events. Apart from obvious ones like Mckenna's 2012/Mayan 2012 which has been brought to attention on this board there is another 2012 projected event...in projections concerning peak oil and its effect on the global economy 2012 is set as the year which the global economy could well go into free fall. another slice of evidence?

Also Daniel spoke a bit ago on another thread about 2007/2008 as being the time he roughly expects the earth changes to be really felt (i hope i am getting your point right here Daniel). I was made aware (via my own personal sources) of 2007 being the year that the approaching changes will finally begin to be truely felt, i.e. when they begin to break into the public mind/consciousness. As a symptom of this peak oil may be involved again as 2007/8 is given in the projections as the year of peak oil. i would like to say that im not reducing these changes to something as materialistc as oil, its just that those dates have stood out to me in my current reading. Either way we should know soon...

Peace

Lowlight: I don't hold alot of interest in "The END TIMES...ETC." It sounds alot like bullshit bible talk. Whats gonna happen in 2012? nothing but high gas prices and terroism.... I belive religion is our biggest problem. Peace out Dan.

I think you are right about the significance of those dates, LowLight. We will see a lot of changes between now and 2012 and 2007/8 will have a formative impact on the consequences of 2012. By 2008 the different group dharma/destiny complexes will have already begun to form. Those who keep an open mind and heart to the events now unfolding will have realized their path in life by 2008 and take on a positive role in the projected future. Those who remain deluded by the illusion of our current societal structures will be "doomed" to watch in full horror as their constructed image of the world falls apart while those who actively partipate in the forming of new consciousness structures will be creating a new world in which people may either reject or embrace.

People like Daniel Pinchbeck and many on this board who see the forcoming consciousness shift will in effect ride the wave of change until our thought space crystalizes into a new reality. They will at once embrace the world and create it through thought and space, materializing it in both the brain and physical matter structures.

It is best to have an open mind though and don't expect any specific events to unfold. If you choose you can create the events that you want but only if you fully embrace your own mortality and ineventible destruction. Those who have iradicated fear will have no need for materialist constructs. They will roll with the punches and throw a few punches of their own. They will embrace others and cocreate a new reality based on play and compassion with their new found brothers.

it's only a game show in the end, isn't it? ;)

Sun - i agree, its best to remain open but also to not try and cling to some conception of what is to unfold. Whatever happens, dream or nightmare, it will be what we dont expect, which is at once something fearful and hopeful.

Nanouk - gameshow? probably something like that...but i hope its the most profound gameshow ever if it is one.

Halfglass - i guess it depends on how you define religion. closed off conservatism which believes it alone knows the truth is terrible, shamanism is not, but i would still call it a 'religion'. Actually i would call your 'it' a kind of religion in that it is a way you interpret and see the world that gives you impetus.

Lowlight; ok I agree the "IT" sounds like god or whathaveyou...but there was a creator somewhere in the void bored and lonely. So the Big Bang is the "IT" banging itself (LOL!) In other words... the "It" is You...is me; etc. The Hindus had it figured out untill they got invaded by arians!
