View Full Version : We are still evolving
This study shows that we are still evolving: From the BBC website.
Researchers have found that the shape of the human skull has changed significantly over the past 650 years.
Modern people possess less prominent features but higher foreheads than our medieval ancestors.
Writing in the British Dental Journal, the team took careful measurements of groups of skulls spanning across 30 generations.
The scientists said the differences between past and present skull shapes were "striking".

It reminds me of a I read about related study (link) (http://www.newscientist.com/channel/life/evolution/dn8483) in the New Scientist, which shows that we have evolved in the last 50,000 years.

~n~Projections of the purity of the self onto the temporal framework. Whitley Strieber has entertained several psychological possibilities, but I think he felt the experiences were too concrete to be characterized as futuristic. That and his current body was preserved throughout the experience.
Every time I read and think about the UFO/abduction scenarios, I can't help but surmise that these are but layers of the psyche. As you melt the psyche down, the veil is thinned and suddenly the UFO experience is rather mundane. At least you have a body in the UFO experience!
I think there are far more intense projections that the denuded soul can arrive at.

Has anyone ever had a psychedelic trip (probably mushrooms) where they were constantly being placed into consolidated existence (not to the point of actually having a body, but more so preparing for entering into form), but as soon as that existence got close to the self, the entelechy bursts out once again only to deposit its karma upon another morphic field?
That last several psycedelic journeys that I had kept me horizontal on my bed. The higher self almost seemed angry with me as I came up, and then suddenly I was thrown into the sequence of events described above. Curiously, as I was trying to negotiate the direction of the trip with the long lost (but oh so remembered), I tried reaching for an apple in my fruit basket. On two separate evenings I did this: I grasped an apple, took one bite and then tilted my head to the right as that strangeness looked straight at me and tilted its head to the left. Clearly I was in for a lesson...
I was ripped out of one alien life and then the next. Towards then end of the trip I was coalescing these various life-cycles temporally, so that I could manifest myself in many alien dimensions at once. I never tried to manuever my way into any distinct form. Even though I was completely dissolved of Jacob (earth me), a sublte spiritual mechanism prevented me from consolidating into form. I was, however, rather chatty. I learned thousands of dialects those nights, chanting with more forms of intelligence than I had ever before.
These were various trance states, but I would not characterize them as hallucinations. They were vibratory, subtle experiences, primarily composed of sound.
But to tie this into the subject at hand, one of the recurring themes was just how alien my self felt. At first during the trip, I asked my higher self whether or not I would encounter an abduction. It may have laughed, I'm not quite sure. I then asked myself whether I wanted to have my anus probed and admitted that my dabbling with sexuality as a teen has introduced me to a sufficient amount of anal-probage. (I do not consider myself a sexual being, but I went through a period where I was experimenting with personal tantra. Too many details? Hah!) Anyways, the elongated forehead resonates very deeply with my lower self. Subjectively, it dwells in many resonating alien dimensions that resemble our own morpic state.
