a couple of years ago i read a book called 'fierce people', which mentions the yanomamo tribe and their drug-of-choice, ebene. at the time i didn't really care/know much about the psychedellic world, for i had only ever done mushrooms and didn't know the healing and guiding abilities of them. but now i'm very curious as to the effects of this substance because i found that it contains both N,N-dimethyltryptamine and 5-methoxy-N,N-dimethyltryptamine, which makes me believe this could be one powerful potion.
so far i have found nothing on ebene other than anthropoligical studies which say nothing other than they use it to talk to the spirits of their dead.
if anyone can direct me to some reading (or create some for me smile.gif ), that would be great!
thanks. :D
edit: there is a book written by Napoleon Chagnon called 'The Fierce People' which is an actual documentary on the yanomamo, and not a story that mentions them like the book i mentioned earlier.. there will probably be many edits to come, i finally found some information.
edit 2: hah! finally found a site with pretty much all i needed to know --> http://amazing-nature.com/info/1609.htm .
so.. does anyone have any insight or personal experience? smile.gif
