Default i cannot really review this book, just share my experience of it

A few weeks ago I read Daniel's 2012. I must say it consumed me and I consumed it within 72 hours. I read on the toilet, riding the bus, feeding my kids, lying in bed, standing in the canteen while drinking my coffee and smoking a cigarette. I read anytime, anyplace. I woke up reading. It fascinated me to read a book that I was hoping to have written some day. But since my writing has to improve over the years, I figured I wouldn't be ready for a book like this in another ten years or so. And then it would have been too late. So, Daniel, thanks.

I think the book is full of wonderful, thought provoking associations, that really triggered my mind in new ways. The best example of this, in my opinion, was the chapter where the alien abduction phenomenon is linked with Steiner's description of goblins/gnomes. It makes so much sense. And then again, it doesn't. Of course. I love Chapel Perilous.

A big reason why the book really grabbed me, is that I could relate to Daniel very well through it. I found a lot of corresponding personality traits and factual equalities in our lives. I think this was a big contribution to me weeping over my cup of coffee in a cafe when I read the scene where the Iboga spirit tells Daniel to GET IT STRAIGHT. It touched me on my sore spot. Admirably direct and honest to write it down like that.

Ah, well, and then of course there is the whole 2012 thing. More and more I'm starting to think that it really doesn't matter what will happen then. It's not now. All I can ever do, return of Quetzalcoatl or not, is lead my life with love, raise my kids with compassion and a willingless to be taught by them, turn towards the light and let go.

Daniel, thank you for sharing this book with us, with me. It's been quite a ride. I cannot describe what it did for me, I can only send you my love and gratitude.

Love,
Chiel Reemer
