Default hypocracy?

I couldn't help but wonder, as I heard the media shouters re Egypt: "it is unacceptable to rein in legitimate dissent"-- if the vision of Amy Goodman and others, bloodied at the Republican National Convention as they waved their press patches--arose in anyone else's mind. . .

i cringe every time i hear obama spout democracy and people's rights. and recall his capitulations over and over. how about just the bank regulations? yes look to us world, we dont imprison people for their words. we dont allow any ghandis, the mighty here off them.
