RU Sirius Interveiwed on the VYPH

This week the Viking Youth Power Hour interview with author and psychedelic chess bully R.U. Sirius about his phenonmenol book Counterculture Through the Ages : From Abraham to Acid House. Started as an idea between co-author Dan Joy and Tim Leary the book chronicles counterculture from Abraham, to the Taoists, the Troubedours and Transcendtalists, all the way up through the hippies and the electronic music movement. We also discuss R.U. Sirius' friendship with Timothy Leary, his view on Smart Drugs and being the host of one of the internet's most interesting podcasts, the R.U. Sirius Show and facilitating a course at the Maybe Logic Academy.
This is the first of a series the Vikings will be doing this year interveiwing inspirations and other Vikings battling on the torrid front lines of weirdness.

it is great and it's got music from boards of canada to boot! but yeah, a very loving tribute to a pretty fun and fascinating mind.

met him at an event at a masonic lodge in dallas about 7 years ago. then the strangest thing... very RAW-like... about six months later, i was with my girlfriend at the time at a VW dealership in Austin, she was looking to buy a car. the car salesman walks up to us and he looks *exactly* like wilson, even talked with a strong Long Island accent and walked with a limp. he stuck out his hand to shake mine and on the same finger, same hand, where RAW had his IOT ring this guy had a ring, caste in a seemginly identical style, but it had the VW logo on it instead of the chaos star.
