"I have had the pleasure to see and listen to Timothy Leary, Richard Albert (Ram Dass), Alan Watts and Terrence McKenna and all these people were more than writers they were entertainers, in the best sense of the term, too.
As I have written before ‘Breaking Open the Head’ is among the best four words ever used together, but daniel as a speaker is not in the same group as Leary, Ram Dass, Alan Watts, and Terrence McKenna." - sidecross

i saw daniel tues night. it was storming so badly here it took twice as long on the worst road in the bay area to get there. i liked daniel's offhand manner. he makes the seeming ridiculous sound sane, no easy task. he is absolutely articulate, a bit self deprecating, and... delicate. i dont know how he is usually, or much about his daily life, but i dont need to. he never pissed me off the way he seems to have the rest of you here... the audience in capitola was 75% ageing hippies (brains intact) and 25% under 30. the questions were interesting and i met some agreeable souls. my girlfriend went with me and now wants to read daniel's books.....

Dear Ms SueBee,
I think you have totally misjudged the audience that visits this web site.
I for one want to set up a physical place in Mexico where he can have his own throne and be the long-awaited Big Q.
My intentions are stricly honorable and political.

I have decided the Tepic area(from which the Astecs sprang) would be a good place to start.
Besides that it is the best wine making area in all of ol Mexico.

I am glad that you and your friend enjoyed daniel’s talk.

My original complaint has to do with daniel being compared as ‘the next Timothy Leary’. If daniel was enjoyable as you say, he need not be compared to anyone.

I whole heartedly agree with Sidey.
Daniel. There's something out of whack if you think a real Indian would go west of Washington, much less the Mississippi.

Plan your git together here, amongst the real Americans, and lets head southward toward our destiny in Mexico.
